Today Mallory, Kate, and I decided that each week we will have to bring in one dollar and forty four cents starting next friday, for three weeks straight for the supplies. Each one of us should have brought in four dollars by the end of the three weeks. The end product of the weekly money should be about thirteen dollars. All the money should be turned in to Mallory by November fifteenth. Mallory will then order the supplies by November sixteenth. The supplies should be in by November twenty second. We should start the construction on the pulley by December sixth so it will give us time for trial and errors. We will hopefully be finished constructing by December twenty second. Before we present we will take a picture of the product being used when we are finished. We will also work on this project out side of school too.

Today we did not have a lot of time to work on our 20% projects because we took our leadership Midterms. Mallory, Kate, and I were still able to discuss a little bit though. We made a schedule for what we will do each friday, and who will do what. By next Friday we plan to have raised enough money to by all the materials that needed to be payed for. By the next Friday we plan to have all the materials bought. The pulley will take a while to deliver but will already be purchased. We actually have already gotten the rope. The only thing left is the wood from Home-Depot. By the Middle of November we will be putting all this together. By December we will be testing it and making sure it works well and is not dangerous. Even if it does not work well thats okay our 20% projects do not have to work well we just have to try our best to create something. Not everything ends up working on the first try.

Today Mallory, Kate and I figured out the prices of the black wood, the pulley, and the rope. When then figured out how much everything would costs together and we split the cost between three different people. The black wood is twenty five inches long and two and a half inches think. The black wood will cost about twenty five dollars. We will get the black from Home Depot. The Zinc Plated Fixed Pulley is two inches long. It cost five dollars and thirty six cents. We will order this pulley off of www.hardwareworld.com. The rope is a hundred fifty inches. The rope will not cost anything because we are getting it from Mallory’s dads barn. The over the door hangers cost five dollars. We will get those at target. The total cost for all this will be about thirty five dollars without tax. We will each bring in about eleven dollars or twelve. Today we also made a survey for the pulley.

Today is  Friday, September 27th, and me Mallory and kate all researched the items we need to purchase and how much the items will cost. We got a plan together to see when we will have all the  items we need.  We need elastic tubing (resistance bands) rope, and a new item called a stretch strap. We will have the items by the first of November. We spent time working on our calendar today. We found a new elastic band to use that already had bands that you put your hands though. We are undecided on what size and pulley we need. We are not sure what color the stretcher will be.  By December we will start prototyping  and working out the kinks of the project and by the day of the performance we have the end results.
Today Mallory and I changed our design. we got rid the elastic tubing and we are going to use regular rope instead. We added a wooden or steel bar to attach to the rope to the pulley and the rope will go through the pulley. The pulley wheels will be attached to the bar. Mallory sketched the new design of the pulley today. We figured each others  new roles for this project. I am the researcher, I research the materials we need and how much they will cost. Mallory is the supplier. She supplies us with all the materials we need and designs the stretcher. Kate is the treasurer. She takes care of all the money and makes sure we are all on task and doing what we are suppose to be doing. We all put in the same amount of effort to make our group have equal share in thee jobs we do.
